PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The NA GR Pricing Lead is accountable to review, analyze, and execute all customer pricing and program requests related to distribution and direct customers in the NA Glass Reinforcements business.  This role serves as the owner and subject matter expert for Commercial Excellence, Finance, Treasury, and the Sales organization, as it relates to customer pricing and programs. They are responsible for the execution of timely & accurate processes, loading and management of all customer pricing and program activity.

 

The NA GR Pricing Lead role exists to serve both our customers and our company in an extraordinary way which yields customer loyalty and accurate financial results. This role will own both operational execution for the NA business and strategic leadership for the global business.  As GR separates from OC, this role will be a subject matter expert to navigate dis-synergies and support the deployment of new Pricing systems and processes for the global GR business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Pricing Lead Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on price methodology, systems, and processes
  • Ensure operational excellence and achieve performance objectives.
  • Execute margin analytics and manage customer program accruals, rates, and changes
  • Ensure pricing decisions are within authority levels.
  • Properly lead and execute the aspects of loading price & rebate programs to which leading to accurate financial results & reporting

 

Operational Excellence:

  • Investigate, manage and execute all pricing related customer adjustments (credits & debits)
  • Investigate, correct and clear:
    • Pricing related customer payment deductions
    • Customer orders that are placed on bill block for price correction or validation
  • Complete all audit and reporting activities in alignment with standard operating procedures and within stated response times
  • Ensure visibility to & understanding of key performance metrics, expectations, & daily priorities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years pricing, finance, treasury, and/or accounting experience
