Procurement Lead

The Procurement Planning Team Leader provides leadership and direction to a team of buyers responsible for daily procurement operations across the North American Insulation network. This role ensures the timely availability of raw materials required to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations and the successful execution of production schedules.
Working closely with Sourcing, Science and Technology, Transportation, Planning, and plant operation teams, the Procurement Planning Team Leader coordinates material supply activities, proactively addresses supply risks, and drives alignment across the supply chain. The position is responsible for ensuring purchase orders are accurately placed, suppliers meet shipment commitments, and materials are received and is the escalation point when issues arise.
Success in this role requires strong leadership, effective cross-functional collaboration, exceptional organizational skills, and a high sense of urgency in managing priorities and resolving supply challenges. Additionally, the Procurement Planning Team Leader supports the Division Supply Chain Leader in achieving broader supply chain goals, operational excellence initiatives, and overall business performance.
Reports to: NABI SOE Leader
Span of Control: ~ 5 procurement specialists
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop a team of buyers supporting procurement operations across the North American Insulation network.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials to meet production requirements and maintain continuity of operations.
- Partner with Sourcing, S&T, Planning, and manufacturing teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive timely purchase order placement, shipment execution, and material receipt.
- Proactively identify and resolve supply chain risks, shortages, and service issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, service levels, and inventory performance.
- Assist the Division Supply Chain Leader in executing strategic supply chain objectives and driving operational excellence.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain preferred or related operational discipline
- APICS Certification or equivalent Supply Chain Professional Certification desired
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3- 5 years in Supply Chain, Sourcing, or Operations
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and appropriate analytical tools such as Excel, PBI etc.
- Project management
