The SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Analyst will be a member of the Finance Data Office within Global Financial Operations and Reporting (GFOR), enabling Finance transformation through scalable planning models, modernized forecasting capabilities, and trusted decision-support solutions. The role requires advanced SAC planning model expertise, strong analytical capability, curiosity, effective communication, and sound judgment to deliver solutions that improve business outcomes while protecting user experience and model integrity.
The successful candidate will bring hands-on SAC planning experience, strong finance process knowledge, and a proven ability to analyze business needs, design practical solutions, and implement sustainable reporting and planning capabilities across enterprise systems.
The position reports to: Financial Reporting & Analytics Team Leader
Responsibilities
- Live the Safety stand, adhere to the safety responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and translate into scalable SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SAC planning solutions that advance the roadmap, strengthen governance alignment, and support enterprise planning modernization
- Design, build, and sustain SAC planning models, forecasting input templates, and supporting stories that enable accurate Forecast and annual ops plan (AOP) processes
- Lead modernization of the FP&A model within SAC to improve scalability, usability, performance, and alignment with evolving business planning requirements
- Assess enhancement requests for business value, downstream impact, user experience, and alignment to the broader SAC roadmap before implementation
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) support activities
- Maintain and support forecast input submission processes by equipping users with self-service capabilities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely, accurate submissions
- Manage SAC backend configurations, data mappings, currency translation logic, and integrations with SAP ERP, planning systems, BI, and HANA environments
- Continuously optimize SAC models and stories to maintain performance, accuracy, reliability, and usability across recurring planning and reporting cycles
- SAC Adoption & Enablement
- Drive adoption of SAC across Finance by promoting best practices and establishing consistent usage standards
- Educate and enable stakeholders through training, guidance, and hands-on support to build SAC capability and confidence
- Develop and maintain SAC functional and technical documentation in alignment with governance standards
- Build deep knowledge of OC standards, BI architecture, and roadmap to design scalable, sustainable analytics solutions
- Stay current on emerging analytics trends and technologies, applying innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs
- Document SAC developments and model relationships, ensuring transparency and traceability across solutions
- Define technical requirements and partner with BI COE to align on scalable, fit-for-purpose approaches for the OC environment
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field with 5+ years of experience in finance systems, planning, reporting, or analytics-focused roles
- Required: Hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing SAC planning and forecasting solutions, including models, stories, data actions, security, and integrations
- Required: Strong finance process, analytical, and business acumen with the ability to translate requirements into scalable, user-centered enterprise solutions
- Preferred: Experience with SAP ecosystems, including S/4HANA, BI, SAC architecture, data modeling, data quality, controls, and stewardship practices
- Preferred: Experience in business consulting, project management, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement to deliver enterprise-aligned solutions
