As an Administrative Specialist – Sales Leadership, you will play an important role in supporting the effectiveness and impact of the VP of Sales within Owens Corning Roofing. This role serves as a central coordination point across the sales leadership team, enabling alignment, execution, and communication across key initiatives and priorities.

 

You will operate as a trusted partner, helping streamline operations, coordinate key meetings and events, and ensure the smooth execution of leadership activities. This role requires a proactive, organized, and adaptable approach to managing priorities and supporting a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.

 

POSITION LOCATION: Toledo Headquarters (in-office; approximately 10% travel)

 


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Support the VP of Sales by managing operating rhythms, including leadership meetings, business reviews, strategic sessions, and key internal and customer engagements.
  • Coordinate and execute leadership forums (e.g., Sales Leadership meetings, QBRs), including agendas, materials, logistics, and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure readiness for key business updates and leadership presentations, including preparation for executive and board-level discussions.
  • Act as a central point of coordination across Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Operations to support alignment and execution of initiatives.
  • Lead planning and execution of sales leadership events, customer engagements, and national meetings, ensuring consistent, high-quality experiences.
  • Support sales organization operations, including onboarding, transitions, communications, and distribution of key materials and updates.
  • Provide reporting and administrative support, including scorecards, performance metrics, presentations, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Maintain and organize key systems and data, including reporting tools, customer information, and internal documentation.
  • Support budget tracking, expense management, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, standardize workflows, and enhance efficiency across the sales organization.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and provide proactive support to ensure effective collaboration and execution.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders, preferably at the VP level or higher.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience planning and executing meetings, events, or leadership forums.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience working in a sales organization or supporting commercial operations.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with business systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Concur, Microsoft Office).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales tools, reporting systems, or financial processes.
  • Experience supporting large-scale events or executive-level engagement activities.
  • Experience working in a corporate or global business environment.
