The Associate - Intern is a part of the Vilnius Accounting Team and provides accounting support within the scope of current team’s jobs. A person will be working with Paroc manufacturing and sales companies in consistence with Owens Corning rules and under supervising of the senior team members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monthly reconciliation of GL accounts.
  • Manual journal entries in the GL (accruals, adjustments, reclasses etc.).
  • Conducting fixed asset accounting activities.
  • Assistance in month/quarter end GL closing.
  • Assistance Statutory Financial Statement preparation.
  • Collecting supporting documents for internal and external audit.
  • Assistance in filing VAT, Intrastat, Statistical and other legal reports.

Requirements

  • Education in Financial Accounting, Economics or Business Management would be an advantage. Could be a 3rd or 4th year student.
  • Strong English language skills (oral and written).
  • Experience in Microsoft applications, mainly Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience in using ERP in a production company would be an advantage.
  • Openness, trust and integrity.

Salary - 8 EUR/hour (gross), fixed-term employment contract for 6 months.
