Financial Analyst – Manufacturing FP&A

Location: Hybrid, based from our European Excellence Hub in Vilnius, Lithuania.

About the position

At Owens Corning, we’re driven by a purpose: to make the world a better place through sustainable innovation. For example, through our Paroc business, we produce high-performance insulation solutions that help homes and industries reduce energy use and cut CO₂ emissions.

As part of our Excellence Hub, you’ll collaborate with teams across multiple European locations, supporting their efforts to improve energy efficiency, meet sustainability goals, and drive operational excellence. This centralized team plays a vital role in ensuring consistency, sharing best practices, and enabling smarter decisions that lead to stronger results.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst who will be partnering closely with European manufacturing leadership and plant controllers to define, guide, and support manufacturing financial performance. You will ensure forecast accuracy, support cost transparency, and enhance our financial planning processes across multiple production sites in Europe.

What does success look like?

  • Lead accurate, timely manufacturing financial planning, forecasting, and monthly closing processes across European sites.
  • Strengthen cost transparency and financial insights, ensuring business leaders understand key variances and financial drivers.
  • Develop and enhance standard costing, product costing, and cost roll‑up processes while ensuring alignment between SAP and reporting tools.
  • Improve visibility of manufacturing cost drivers, efficiencies, productivity, and margin analytics, enabling stronger decision‑making.
  • Build strong partnerships with plant controllers, EU/US FP&A teams, and manufacturing leadership to align reporting, support planning cycles, and drive process improvements.

Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed

  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with a solid understanding of manufacturing costing, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics.
  • Excellent business partnering and communication skills — ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with solid Power BI and data visualization capabilities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, focusing on standardization, automation, and process optimization.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and cultures in a complex international matrix environment.
  • High ethical standards with a proactive, structured, and solution‑oriented approach.

Business requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Econometrics, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of progressive analytical/financial experience, preferably in manufacturing or corporate finance.
  • Experience in a complex international matrix organization is an advantage.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP/reporting systems (SAP, Business Objects, etc.) preferred.
  • Fluent in English.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to grow in an international team environment
  • Be part of a purpose-driven organization focused on sustainability and innovation
  • Access to a global e-learning platform
  • A cozy, modern office located in the heart of Vilnius
  • Private health insurance
  • Shared company success through annual performance-based bonus
  • A chance to contribute to meaningful organizational growth and transformation

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 3500 to 4500 EUR gross, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.
