Plant Controlling Intern (Fixed-term employment contract for 6 months)
Location: Hybrid, based from our European Finance Hub in Vilnius - Lithuania.

About the position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plant Controlling Intern to support our Finance and Operations team based at our Non-Woven plant in Brüggen. This internship provides hands-on experience in plant controlling processes, SAP transactions, and SOX compliance activities. You will work closely with the Plant Controller to ensure accurate costing, reporting, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities you will be part of:
Costing & SAP Support:
- Create costing structures
- Support code creation
- Update Statistical Key Figures for costing
SOX Compliance Activities:
- Review and document Management Assessment Process
- Review maintenance costs and document findings
- Conduct quarterly CAPEX reviews and maintain documentation
- Clean and reconcile Goods Received Not Invoiced
- Clean Controlling Goods Issue
Reporting & Dashboards:
- Create and run dashboards for performance tracking
- Daily updates to month-end files during closing period
- Prepare various financial templates for closing

- Demonstrate initiative in learning and improving processes
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities during month-end and project cycles
Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Basic knowledge of SAP or willingness to learn quickly
- Familiarity with financial reporting and controlling principles is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Reliable
- Strong attention to detail
- Open to receiving and applying feedback
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive and eager to learn
Business requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Availability to work full-time or part-time during the internship period
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Compensation for this position - 8 EUR/hour (gross)
