Senior Commercial Analyst – Europe Stonewool Building Insulation
Location: Hybrid based in Owens Corning Vilnius office, Lithuania.

As Senior Commercial Analyst, you will be at the intersection of strategy, finance, and sales. Your work will directly support commercial choices, margin improvement, and strategic growth. You’ll partner closely with country sales leaders and commercial managers, providing insights that support key decisions while building your own career path toward senior finance leadership.
This is a hands-on role: you’ll dive deep into systems, reporting, and analytics, but also step up to influence and challenge decisions. You will support monthly forecasts, customer profitability analysis, rebate SOX controls, price steering, and both operational and long-range planning. You’ll also help design and maintain reporting tools, develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, monitor KPIs, and conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to business case studies, ad hoc projects, and continuous process improvements. Your will report to Commercial Controller, Europe Stonewool Building Insulation and member of Europe Stonewool commercial finance team.
What does success look like?
- Build strong partnerships with commercial and sales teams, becoming a trusted advisor in commercial decision-making.
- Deliver accurate, insightful monthly forecasts and support long-range planning.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports that improve sales performance, visibility and efficiency.
- Ensure effective SOX controls for rebate processes and documentation.
- Provide impactful analysis on customer profitability, pricing, and pipeline trends.
- Demonstrate clear potential to grow into senior finance leadership in near future.
Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed
- Strong logical and analytical thinker with curiosity to connect numbers to real business impact.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and fast learner able to navigate different systems (SAP, CRM, Power BI, etc.).
- Business mindset: understand customer needs and translate them into value propositions and pricing insights.
- System mindset: Curious about system design and process improvement – able to collaborate with IT or system developers to optimize data flows and reporting automation.
- Excellent data visualization skills with Power BI (or similar tools) is a plus and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to work with diverse teams and cultures across Europe.
- Demonstrates solid presentation skills and the ability to distill complex analytical findings into clear and impactful presentations for diverse audiences.
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset, eager to innovate and simplify processes.
- High ethical standards and collaborative attitude.
Business requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, data science, big data & AI, statistics or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in business analysis, data solutions and AI driven business analytics.
- A recent top graduate with a degree in one of: Data Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems (with specialization in AI/Data), Applied Mathematics/ Statistics, or similar fields)
- Experience in applying AI to business or financial analytics will be considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to create dashboards, analyze data, and present insights that drive decisions.
- Strong technical and analytical background combined with commercial curiosity.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 3200 to 4200 EUR a month, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.
