Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Intern

 

Location: Hybrid, based from our European Excellence Hub in Vilnius, Lithuania.

As part of our European Excellence Hub, you will work closely with Supply Chain, IT, and Business teams across Europe, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and digital supply chain processes. This role offers hands‑on exposure to EDI, SAP, and supply chain data flows, while contributing to the stability and improvement of customer integrations.

 

We are looking for a Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Intern who will support the Supply Chain CI and Digital Integration teams in analyzing customer order and invoicing flows, testing system changes, and improving technical documentation. This is a learning‑focused role with real operational impact.

 

 What you’ll do?

  • Analyze customer order and invoicing data to understand end‑to‑end supply chain flows
  • Support testing of system changes to ensure stable customer integrations
  • Support onboarding of new and re‑onboarding of EDI customers by executing test scenarios and documenting processes
  • Work with Supply Chain, IT, and CI teams across Europe
  • Contribute to clear, structured technical and process documentation
  • Explore opportunities to automate testing or analysis using modern tools (including AI)

Skills and capabilities necessary to succeed

 

Technical & functional skills

 

  • Basic understanding of supply chain and order‑to‑cash processes
  • Understanding of EDI concepts and end‑to‑end data flows (advantage)
  • SAP knowledge, including relevant transactional data (advantage)
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis
  • Ability to read and understand EDI technical messages (EDIFACT ,PEPPOL etc.)

 

Soft skills

 

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Structured and methodical way of working with data and documentation
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn complex systems and processes
  • Clear written communication skills, especially for documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional and multicultural teams
  • Reliability and sense of ownership for assigned tasks
  • Proactive attitude toward problem‑solving and continuous improvement

 

Business requirements

 

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in supply chain digitalization, EDI, and process improvement
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Availability for an internship (full‑time or part‑time, duration to be agreed)
