Up to $30 an hour

Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift:    6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM ($2/hr shift pay)

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance, often working independently to minimize downtime and support continuous production.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and respond promptly to maintenance calls to keep production running smoothly.
  • Monitor equipment during start-up and identify any necessary repairs.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace broken components; assist in maintaining parts inventory.
  • Complete work orders and perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks.
  • Support equipment moves, rebuilds, and facility projects; may oversee external vendors.
  • Perform minor construction tasks including rebuilding pumps and motors, and fabricating parts.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance (e.g., belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals).
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate issues effectively.

Skilled Labor Preferred but Not Required:

  • Basic understanding of PLC controls, circuit logic, and power distribution.
  • Ability to troubleshoot high and low voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery and related maintenance.

 

Job Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrates accountability and independence; accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols without reminders.
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work respectfully across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications Preferred but Not Required:

  • Vocational or technical school training.
  • Welding certification.

 

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and working on feet.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, stooping, twisting, and occasional work at heights.
