Job Purpose
The production operator fills bags with fiberglass.
Job Responsibilities
- Production consists of filling bags with fiberglass
- Varied duties of lifting, using basic tools, and material handling
- Continuously monitor machine operation and material flow to ensure productivity and quality
- Move totes, stock bags, empty trash on an as needed basis
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the site leader
Job Requirements
- Must be able to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions relating to safety, quality, and production
- PPE is required – safety toe shoes or boots (safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided)
- Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work environment including work area and equipment
- Must be able to stand in one area for extended periods of time, performing repetitive tasks
- Forklift experience is preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to perform basic math skills
- Read, write, and comprehend English
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to work scheduled shift based on production needs determined by the site leader
